Proserve Wales - Mark Snape
This site is just a shared experience having been forced to deal with PROSERVE DEBT RECOVERY & BAILIFF SERVICES LTD who claim to have

"a courteous approach to the art of debt collection".

Proserve Debt Recovery & Bailiff Services Ltd operate from 30 Wynnstay Road, Colwyn Bay, LL29 8NB. Please forgive me for not linking directly to the Proserve website, the reasons for which will be soon evident if you choose to continue reading through the content of this one...

Proserve also claim to look after your personal data. This isn't the case. They have published a list of names on their website including Proserve references, the amount the bailiff takes as commission (50% plus bonus where applicable) when the last payment was due to Proserve, when the next payment is due and the outstanding balance. Proserve claim this was a temporary situation because "Google illegally trawled our website in an aggressive manner using an adapted programme to overcome our security". This is nonsense and their MD can't spell. So if you ever get a knock from these Proserve monkeys, should you give them your payment details? Should Proserve even have your name and address in the first place?

Why bother? Well, to be honest this site didn't take long to set up. It takes an awfully long time to try and find regulations/rights when dealing with Bailiffs. Some of this is because bailiff companies provide their own translations of these regulations and publish them on their websites. This can create problems for the government website information even being found. An example below:-

Taking Control Of Goods Why is the Sherriff's Office top of the results list?

Before we go on, let's get something out of the way:-

  • Any advice offered is again opinion and should not be deemed "legal advice" but we hope that you find this information useful or at the very least interesting.
  • We genuinely hope you never have to deal with Proserve Debt Recovery and Bailiff Services Ltd.

  • Feel free to take a look around, by the time you have read this we've hopefully found an appropriate picture of a clown in a van ;)
